Talking shop

Four of us were gathered at Payap Coffee for a meeting and, as the conversation wandered, someone mentioned how they hate how the chalk squeeks on the blackboard. 

"Have you tried breaking it?" Anisha suggested.

"Does that help?"

"Yeah, you're supposed to break it in half." 

"some of the chalkboards are so bad, I can't even read what I'm writing. They don't erase all the way." 

"Has anyone used the chalkboard in Room #X? It's awful!" 

It was at this point that I strongly felt we needed to be in a teacher's lounge. Either that or get a life.
